Vermont's Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities Email Archives Homepage
Vermont's Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities (the "GCEPD") is a permanent committee created by the state legislature in the 1960s to promote the employment of Vermont's citizens of all abilities.  We carry out this mission by providing education and outreach, through the creation of alliances with businesses and services provides, and by playing an advisory role to the Governor.  We use our bi-monthly newsletter, "Abilities", to provide stories, information, and resources about the employment of individuals with disabilities.  Each issue focuses on a particular disability-related topic and usually highlights a successful employment scenario.
