Hammond Public Library News

Vol. 9:24   Dec. 17, 2010
Greetings!

The Hammond Public Library reminds you that:
  • With the holidays almost upon us, look to HPL for books on etiquette; setting a holiday table; finding recipes for delicious desserts or savory side dishes; holiday history and traditions; and decorating your home. We have a special collection of Christmas books, too.

  • Winter Reads takes place from Dec. 1-Dec. 31 for youth, teens, and adults. See each section below to find out how to participate in your age group.

  • Tomorrow is the last day to drop off donations for the Mitten Tree, sponsored by Friends of St. Anthony Hospice. Donations of new hats, gloves, mittens and scarves are accepted Saturday at Main Library.

  • LIBRARY HOLIDAY HOURS:
    All locations are closed
    Fri., Dec. 24
    Sat., Dec. 25
    Sat., Jan. 1, 2011
