Greetings!
Important news from the Hammond Public Library: - Winter Reads takes place from Dec. 1-Dec. 31 for youth, teens, and adults. See each section below to find out how to participate in your age group.
- The Friends conduct Borders Benefit Days next weekend, Dec. 11 & 12. Please print and clip the voucher at the
bottom of this page, and bring it to any Borders store during these dates. Our Friends will receive a portion of most items purchased. Some exclusions apply. Visit Borders in Highland on Sat., Dec. 11 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and the Friends will wrap your Borders purchases. Gift wrapping donations are accepted. You may also shop at Borders.com and use the promo code on the voucher. - All HPL locations serve as collection sites for the Mitten Tree, sponsored by Friends of St. Anthony Hospice. Donations of new hats, gloves, mittens and scarves are accepted through Dec. 18. Thank you.
