Single Profile Thread Mill For Acme Threads

 

 

Single Profile Thread Mills are now available in Acme & Stub Acme Thread forms.    

The free cutting design of the SPTM's makes them ideal for the coarse thread pitches associated with Acme & Stub Acme threads.  

  • Manufactured from solid carbide for maximum tool rigidity.
  • Long reach tools available for unfavourable length to diameter ratios.
  • Thread sizes available up to 1 �"x 5.
  • Single profile design provides a controllable pitch diameter and cut depth.
  • Low horsepower requirements compared to tapping.
  • Produces very small manageable chips which are easily controlled with flood coolant.

All SPTM's will cut right and left hand threads in internal and optional external applications.

It a Tube Brush used for Thru Holes.


Tube Brushes are generally twisted-in-wire brushes for use by hand, on portable tools and drill presses. Used to clean and finish holes or internal threads. Diameters range from 1/8" - 3" and are stocked in stainless steel, brass, nylon and carbon steel.
