Single Profile Thread Mills are now available in Acme & Stub Acme Thread forms. The free cutting design of the SPTM's makes them ideal for the coarse thread pitches associated with Acme & Stub Acme threads.
- Manufactured from solid carbide for maximum tool rigidity.
- Long reach tools available for unfavourable length to diameter ratios.
- Thread sizes available up to 1 ¼"x 5.
- Single profile design provides a controllable pitch diameter and cut depth.
- Low horsepower requirements compared to tapping.
- Produces very small manageable chips which are easily controlled with flood coolant.
