Museo del Grabado Español Contemporáneo
Located in the old section of Marbella, this restored 16th C. palace houses a fine collection of engravings and graphic art. The exhibitions cover a wide range of some of the best Spanish art in the print medium. The collections contain everything from 15th-century engravings to works by internationally renowned artists such as Picasso, Dalí, Tàpies and Miró.

Restaurante Cervantes (Marbella)
Take a break from strolling around the charming streets of Marbella to enjoy a meal at Restaurante Cervantes, which is one of the restaurants overlooking the lovely Plaza de los Naranjos in the heart of Marbella's Old Town. The restaurant is located in a 17th C. Andalusian manor house, and serves traditional Spanish dishes, such as Callos con Garbanzos (tripe with chickpeas), and Cochinillo (roast suckling pig), as well as other regional and Mediterranean delights. This family owned restaurant will make you feel right at home in their charming corner of this square.

Road Trips...from Marbella
Ojén - this beautiful white village of approximately 2,000 inhabitants is located in the hills just behind the mountains of Marbella. It is well known for the production of an anise liqueur, hiking, and hunting. Stop and enjoy this step back in time and the spectacular views of the coast (20 minutes).
__________________________ Istán - founded in the 15th C. this charming white village also offers the visitor the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve (More on Biosphere Reserve). A bit of history - the local inhabitants are referred to as a "panocho" because the settlers who came from Murcia to Istán spoke a dialect known as "panocho" (30 minutes). Read More on City

Mijas - this picturesque village in the foothills of the sierra, while larger than others, offers the visitor many options. Visit the Museo Histórico Etnológico de Mijas, the bullring (one of the only few square bullrings in Spain), and walk the charming old square (45 minutes). Read More on City

Casares - is considered by many as one of the most beautiful white villages. In 1978 this mountain village was declared a "Village of Historical and Artistic Importance". Put this town high on your list of places to visit (1 hour).

Ronda - is considered one of Spain's oldest towns (dates back to the Neolithic age). It sits high above the Guadalevín River offering beautiful views of the countryside. A visit must include seeing the Plaza de Toros (oldest bullring in Spain), the bullfighting Museo Taurino (More on museum), Palacio de Mondragón, and the prehistoric cave paintings of Cueva de la Pileta (More on caves) (1 hour). Málaga - this gateway city on the Mediterranean offers something for every visitor. Visit its 10th C. Alcazaba palace, Moorish castle, and 16th C.
