Dear Friends,
With summer coming to an end and autumn fast
approaching, there is nothing like the impetus of the back-to-school "vibe" to
get us thinking about our commitments to our health and fitness. Just like the fresh-start appeal of a new
academic year, we approach our fitness routine and our goals in much the same
way - as an opportunity to reinvent ourselves and our bodies. This empowering sentiment affects us all and
we are thrilled to share our exciting plans for the season including new classes
and programming.

NEW! Pilates for Teens at the Yoga Collective Wednesday's at 4:30
A Pilates program designed specifically for teens in mind with an emphasis on improving posture, body awareness and core strength. This 13-week program will introduce students to the Basic Principles of the Pilates method with a progression to Essential/Intermediate mat exercises.

studio and more is on the way. Stay
tuned for the arrival of the V2 Max, a solid all-in-one equipment system that
multitasks as a Mat, Reformer and Cadillac.
The V2 Max delivers more than 450 exercises to expand programming for
group classes.

Need a bit of motivation to get running outdoors?
Back by popular demand, we have created two running programs for the fall
geared for both novice and experienced runners.
If you are looking to improve your running performance or just want to
meet up with fellow runners for a great workout, we have the program for
you. Led by former National Team members Julie Froud and Chantal Lemieux,
this 11-week periodized running and conditioning program will take your running
to the next level. Learn proper running form and biomechanics as well as
preventative conditioning and training strategies that will get you running
faster and stronger.

About the Trainers
Improving health and fitness involves a personal evolution that does not happen instantly. At Bodyforme, we offer a professional, multi-disciplinary scientific approach to conditioning intended to provide safe, efficient results. Our commitment to integrity and quality is paramount.
Our trainers hold the most respected certifications and credentials in the industry including degrees in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Michigan and the University of Toronto. We hold post-graduate accreditations including the Clinical Training in Mind/Body Medicine from Harvard Medical School and graduate courses in Exercise Science from the University of Toronto. We are registered with the Ontario Kinesiology Association, and we are certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Council on Exercise, and Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CFC) and STOTT Pilates. As former competitive athletes, we have represented Canada internationally in running, track and field, duathlon, and cycling. We look forward to sharing with you our passion for movement and and the empowerment of sport.
