Mass Mail is a great way to keep in contact with specific Favorite groups, whether it be Employees or Customer Contacts. They are quick and easy to create, and just as quick to send out. But what if you want your email to stand out a bit? Not an HTML wizard, don't worry.. it's not as difficult as you might think to create simple, colorful and eye-catching mass mails. Just a reminder, I'm not a techie (but I'm married to one) so if I can do it, chances are you can too!
Templates can be "found" through a variety of resources. If you see one in your own email that you like you can try to grab the HTML code by right clicking and choosing View Frame Source. You can also go to a free site such as https://github.com/mailchimp/Email-Blueprints/tree/master/templates and check out some predesigned templates.
If you Google HTML Email templates, you will get a bunch of options. If you choose to use your own images you will need to know a little HTML to insert them into the template. Another option would be to have a graphic designer build a couple of templates that you could alter if needed.
Here's the cool thing.. you have an HTML editor right in your Mass Mail! Simply drop the code in the HTML section, and then start editing in the Design tab. All your text changes will carry over - pretty neat huh?
If you are lucky enough to find a template or email with the colors you like, then no need to change. Otherwise you will need to do a little looking through the code and change the colors. http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colorvalues.asp.
I just did the following sample that took me less than ten minutes from the time I found it to prep it for send out. Depending on the template you are using, and how much needs to change, yours may take a little longer.

Give it a try, see what kind of new templates you can come up with to stay in contact with your Favorite Groups.
