As the holiday egg market prices begin to slip there is an increasing number of flocks targeted for a rest before Easter. Now is the time to get those flocks ready for the molting process. The goal of the molt is to rapidly take the hen out of production without additional stress, adequately rest her without elevated mortality and bring her back into production at the recommended body weight rested and ready for a productive second lay cycle.
