Every day, we are advancing the common good by not only providing a safety net for basic needs, we work to prevent tomorrow's problems by addressing issues today.
We invite you to be a part of the movement. You can give, advocate and volunteer. That's what it means to LIVE UNITED.

Who Will Win the LIVE UNITED Photo Contest?
| We want to feature how local companies and organizations are involved with PPUW and improving the community, so grab your LIVE UNITED t-shirts and capture your team in action, along with your logo, or whatever best represents your company!

- Be creative. Involve staff, clients, offices, products...
- Email Morgan Beach with how many shirts (up to 5) & the sizes you need for your photo(s); she will arrange a pick-up time with you.
- Please get proper permissions from your "models."
- Send pictures to Alyssa Parker by November 30th. Remember these don't have to be 100% professional - we just want to capture you doing what you do best.
- Photos will be featured in Pikes Peak United Way marketing material and social media throughout the year and in future campaigns!
Any questions? Contact Morgan Beach by email or phone at 719.955.0755 or Alyssa Parker by email or phone at 719.955.0736.

Trends to Talk About

| |
49% of the clients who called
2-1-1 in the 2010-2011 fiscal year have an annual income of less than $10,000, 52% of the clients were unemployed and 34% were first time 2-1-1 callers. Read the Year End Dashboard.
Success By 6 is PPUW's school readiness initiative, which addresses the importance of a child's first six years of life. Quality early learning increases success in school, graduation rates, workforce readiness, job productivity, and engagement in the community. Learn more about SB6 at our Campaign Kick-off Event!
The fifth annual QLI report will be released late September! This report measures the quality of life in the community by tracking key indicators over time, allowing our community to understand who we are, where we have been and where we are going. Visit the website to learn more.
Imagine how many people we could reach if everyone forwards this to 5 people. Help our community learn about PPUW, our 42 Partner Agencies, and issues in our community.
