Greetings!
Happy New Year to you! 2011 is an especially significant year for us, as it marks Common Hope 25th year of educating children and empowering families in Guatemala. Next Thursday, January 27 is our official "birthday," the day in 1986 that the Huebsch family walked into the Minnesota Secretary of State's office with Common Hope's articles of incorporation and received the stamp of approval. In honor of our anniversary, we will share a number of stories throughout the year about ordinary people whose hopes years ago have been made real because of your committed, generous support. Read on to learn more about the latest ways your dollars are making a difference, and begin the celebration with us.

Thanks to you, 2010 ended strong

Your generosity in 2010 helped us to end on a strong note. While we were slightly behind budget in terms of revenue, our careful expense management throughout the year meant we started the new year on strong footing. We are ready to welcome 3,000 children to the 2011 school year and to continue expanding work with partner schools to have a greater influence on education quality in Guatemala.
Your committed support has made Common Hope the committed partner families can count on. Thank you!
