Plant it Portland - Friends of Trees |
Friends of Trees has a full calendar in January. They will be planting in neighborhoods from Arbor Lodge to Lents and can always use more volunteers. Jim Gersbach will present a Tree Selection slide show on January 20th at Concordia University.
It's not too late to purchase trees from Friends of Trees in some neighborhoods. Enter your address in their website to see if you are still eligible to get trees for your home. Friends of Tree will get your permit and only show you trees that are approved by the city for your planting strip.
