Periodicals are displayed opposite the cash desk, and include: Mystery Scene (the oldest, largest and perhaps most authoritative guide for collectors of current mystery fiction); Crime Spree (another regular bi-monthly source for collectors and avid readers); and The Strand Magazine (featuring short stories unpublished elsewhere, and author interviews). Current issues are priced at 20% off, or more. We also have some back issues of these magazines. Sherlockian connoisseurs (that includes us) can find copies, published in the period 2000 to 2004, of a magazine called, sensibly, Sherlock.
