April 2012
Greetings!

With less than 100 days until the London games, I can tell you from experience that there is nothing more exciting than heading to the Olympic trials. We are so proud of our athlete mentors and wish them the best of luck! It's impressive to see their dedication to their adopted classrooms. Our mentors are still sending in their videos and making time for live chats with their students. With technology as a core component of the program, it's quicker and easier for them to connect and make an impact, even while they are at their peak of training.

Thanks for your support,
Steve Mesler
Founder and Executive Director

Ms. Yenne's class meets Mary Allison Milford

Not only does Mary Allison Milford play wheelchair basketball for Team USA, but she also coaches a junior wheelchair basketball team.  When her team played in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association national championships, Mary Allison invited Ann Yenne's classroom to watch some games with her.  Read Ann's blog about the visit.
