Tech Tip:
It's called "Loop" for a reason.
Well it may sound too simple, but it is called "Loop" for a reason. For those who have never installed a Saw-cut, be sure to form a rectangular loop with the wire. Do not run the length of wire in straight rows across the detection area.
First, mark the pavement with chalk (rather than aerosol spray paint) as indicated in the easy-to- follow layout instructions.
Clean debris from the slot with compressed air. That's a great way to dry the pavement completely, too.
Be certain that the backer rod is pressed firmly on top of the wires to avoid vibrating and false "reads". Call one of our techies for more great tips at (630) 879-8008 |
