When installing a loop for vehicle detection survey the proposed area.

  Be certain that no part of the loop is within 2 feet of reinforcement rods in the surrounding pavement,  nor closer than  5 feet from any magnetic interference above ground.  Take note of storage tanks, dumpsters or other large metal objects that may cause interference. 
 This brief step will avoid delays and performance issues.
