Feature Story of the Year Shaking Things Up for Cornell's Freshmen | First semester civil engineering freshmen are often overloaded with a lot of theory, abstract math and physics. In the lab of Professor Ingraffea at Cornell University they get a little break - and some real-life experience with earthquake engineering. Read this year's most popular feature story and learn how Quanser's Shake Table II helps attract and motivate engineering students. |
Blog of the Year
Bringing UVS Research Indoors |
No surprise to our engineers that a blog related to unmanned vehicles was the most popular in 2009. After all, Quanser's Qball-X4, and Qbot are meeting the demand for affordable and safe research tools. Quanser's engineers have been developing these unmanned systems for many years. Read more about our R&D journey.

Video of the Year
Hexapod + Haptics =Driving Simulator
| The most watched video on our YouTube channel shows Quanser's Hexapod simulating what you'd feel when driving on bumpy terrain. Quanser's engineers simply married capabilities enabled by Quanser's haptic tools with the Hexapod - the 6 DOF motion platform developed as a collaborative research project with Professor Krovi from the State University of New York in Buffalo.

In Your Own Words |
"Quanser always gives us the flexibility of going and talking to them. We collaborate and cooperate and always come up with something that is useful for the students."
Dr. Shahin Sirouspour, Associate Professor, McMaster University, Canada
