Saturday + Sunday, October 9 & 10, 2010

openhousenewyork weekend, America's largest architecture and design event, needs volunteers to help open doors through out NYC!

OHNY weekend allows people to discover new neighborhoods, explore with friends and family, and experience NYC's architecture and design in all five boroughs through special talks, tours, performances and family-friendly workshops - all free of charge!

And volunteers are an essential part of the event! Join 550+ supporters and register to volunteer for OHNY Weekend 2010! Volunteer for a four hour shift and receive a signature OHNY button that allows front-of-the-line access at non-reservation sites and programs. Click here to learn more and to register!

UPDATE: Kickstarter iPhone app project 93% funded

We hardly have to tell you how well our Kickstarter campaign is going--the numbers speak volumes!



We're 15 days into our Kickstarter campaign to fund the West Side's first ever iPhone walking tour app!  We've raised $2,776 in pledges; that's 93% of our $3,000 goal! 

Thanks to press coverage by DNAInfo.com, CBSNew York, the MyUpperWest blog, Curbed, and the West Side Spirit (click here to read their articles) and recognition by the Kickstarter staff as their featured Technology project (both yesterday and today!), our pledges are coming from longtime friends and new acquaintances alike.  Their common thread: they were inspired by our Kickstarter video.  If you haven't already, we hope you'll watch it!
