"It is just the evolution as we get ready for winter," says District 5 Commissioner Richard Johnson.

WARNING: OBAMA ED AIMS AT U.S. TAKEOVERA proposal by a Florida state lawmaker to allow "inspirational" messages, including prayer, on a voluntary basis at some school events is drawing the opposition of several major lobby groups on legislative issues, including the American Civil Liberties Union and the Anti-Defamation League.
The proposal from Sen. Gary Siplin, D-Orlando, would allow districts to adopt resolutions that allow prayer of invocation or benediction at secondary school events if they are at the discretion of the student government, given by student volunteers and do not involve school personnel.

JOSEPH FARAH: WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRATIONWith illegal immigration re-emerging as a major issue of the Republican presidential candidates, I thought it would be a good time for a review of the moral dimensions underlying this problem -using the wisdom and inspiration of the Bible as our guide.
I'm often surprised by how many Christians and Jews are confused about what the Bible tells us about national borders, foreigners, citizenship and the law.
Some clerics are adding to the confusion by denouncing efforts to protect our borders, safeguard our citizens and enforce our duly enacted and just laws as some kind of hateful, non-compassionate, anti-Christian or anti-biblical agenda.

TILLER CRONY ADMITS UNREPORTED CHILD RAPEThe Lawrence Journal World thought it was doing Dr. Ann Kristin Neuhaus, a long time associate of the late abortionist George Tiller, a favor.
This past week, the paper ran a positive article on Neuhaus, whose reputation recently took a battering at a hearing held by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KBHA).
Unfortunately for Neuhaus, she let slip in this exclusive interview an odd admission that may have repercussions for herself and for others accused, rightly or wrongly, of failure to report child abuse.

MEDIA AWOL ON JESSE JACKSON'S SEXCAPADESCharles Krauthammer of Fox News: "Do you think that race, being a strong black conservative, has anything to do with the fact you've been so charged (with sexual harassment)? And if so, do you have any evidence to support that?"
Herman Cain: "I believe the answer is yes, but we do not have any evidence to support it."
Playing the race card is vulgar, whether done by Al Sharpton or President Barack Obama - as he did to contain the Rev. Wright scandal. Especially when, as here, the complainant admits he lacks evidence. If Cain were not a front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination - a shock probably even to him - the media wouldn't bother. But when the quest goes from curiosity to conceivable, the scrutiny increases exponentially. And who knows how the media got the information, possibly from one of Cain's presumably non-racist GOP rivals?

HERIFF JOE: 'SHOW ME THE MICROFILM!' OF OBAMA'S BIRTH CERTIFICATESheriff Joe Arpaio came up with the idea to demand the original microfilm of Obama's birth certificate after he saw evidence from his Cold Case Posse in Maricopa County, Ariz., that the White House apparently released to the public three different versions of the long-form birth certificate.
"Show me the microfilm, not the copies the White House released," Arpaio has insisted.
What the White House released on April 27 were not original documents but purportedly scans of original birth documents that remain in the Hawaii Department of Health vault.
