BOEHNER "KEEPING A CLOSE EYE" ON OBAMA MAKING SURE LAW IS FOLLOWED"I thought we were a nation of laws and that our country was governed by our Constitution.
"And as I have been around my district and the country this year, there's more of an interest in our founding principles than at any time in my political career. And when you talk about the founding principles, you realize that Article I gives the Congress of the United States the power of the purse and that the president has powers under Article II, and this idea that you are just going to go around the Congress is just, it's almost laughable.
"And so we are keeping a very close eye on the administration to make sure they are following the law and following the Constitution," House Speaker John Boehner told the Laura Ingraham radio program this morning.

STEVEN TYLER SHOWS OFF HIS BROKEN FACE, PROMISES HE'S STILL SOBERAs Spinner recently reported, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler had a nasty fall in a hotel bathroom in Paraguay over the weekend. The singer was rushed to the hospital where he underwent treatment for a busted lip, cut forehead and two broken front teeth. And from the ghastly picture that Tyler sent NBC's 'Today Show,' it looks like the frontman may have rocked a little too hard while singing in the shower.
Speculation arose about Tyler's sobriety after the incident caught wind around the world, but the 'Idol' judge assured Matt Lauer that this had nothing to do with substance abuse, and everything to do with dehydration after food poisoning. "I get that people think that," Tyler said of rumors that he had fallen off the wagon. "It still bothers me a little, but it's something that I have to deal with for the rest of my life."

JOEL OSTEEN CLAIMS WRONGLY THAT MORMONS ARE CHRISTIANSHere we go again. Joel Osteen is in the news once again, this time for saying that Mormonism is just another form of Christianity. Osteen, pastor of "America's largest church," as the media repeat over and over, was speaking to The Washington Times in an interview that covered a variety of issues. It was the quintessential Joel on display.

Joel Osteen speaks on Mitt Romney's faith |
Speaking to the newspaper on Monday, Osteen said, "I see faith in America at an all-time high." His comments came just as a major research project detailed a significant loss of vitality in America's Christian congregations. That loss of vitality can be traced, among other things, to a loss of theological and biblical conviction. Joel, of course, is proof positive that you can build a crowd without building a church. He is not inclined to deal in much theological conviction.

VIDEO OF 6,810 BOTTLES OF WINE CRASHING TO THE FLOORIt's a wine lover's nightmare - thousands of bottles of the world's finest grape juice crash on the floor, leading to a tsunami of undrinkable vino.
At Superior Discount Liquors in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, that disastrous scenario really did happen.
A 78ft long shelving unit suddenly becoming detached from its anchoring wall.
Standing four shelves high, a total of 6,810 bottles of wine and champagne smashed on the floor.
The liquor turned into a sea of red and broken glass.
Managers at the store are stumped as to why or how it happened, but did admit the shelves are 31 years old.

Superior Wine Shelf Collapse |
Or could it be the work of an anti-alcohol spirit bitterly intent on giving the imbibers of Sheboygan (population: nearly 48,000) a hard time.
'It just kept rolling away from the wall from front to back, and I was in disbelief. I didn't know what to do or say. The whole thing only took 10 seconds,' employee Peter Guske told a local ABC station.
Watch as a stunned store worker near the tumbling shelves breaks the land speed record as he scrambles to safety.
After the initial shock, store workers kept their cool and cleaned the blood-red mess up as quickly as possible with snow shovels, shop vacuums and floor scrubbers.
They didn't even have to close the store.
The woeful wine incident was captured by two surveillance cameras in the store, in black and white and color!
The video was uploaded on Youtube on October 10 and has already had nearly 266,000 views.

NEW FILM CHALLENGES ANTI-CHRISTIAN 'INDOCTRINATION' IN PUBLIC SCHOOLSAs the 2012 presidential race begins to draw public attention, a new film seeks to bring education to the forefront of public debate. 'IndoctriNation: Public Schools and the Decline of Christianity in America', a documentary that explores the origins and social impact of America's public school system, was released on DVD October 18, followed by public screenings in select cities across the US.
The controversial film has sparked debate among Christians and atheists over the roles of faith, and government in education.

IndoctriNation Trailer |
Recent news coverage has highlighted the controversy of several presidential candidates who will seek to dismantle the US Department of Education if elected, a goal shared by Ronald Reagan but abandoned by the Republican Party in recent years.
"People are starting to wake up to the damaging effects of a government controlled education monopoly," says 'IndoctriNation' co-director, Colin Gunn, a Scotland-born filmmaker living in Texas. He continues, "We now are facing all these problems in America - high taxation, welfare dependency, government debt - and as Christians and conservatives we have to see we can't solve those problems until we solve the public schooling problem."
Look at some compelling clips from the documentary.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JOHN LOFTON ASSERTS WHAT A CANDIDATE BELIEVES ABOUT GOD IS PARAMOUNTIt is quite astounding to see so many who say they are Christians denying Christ, saying that belief in Him is irrelevant and ought not to be talked about or be made an issue. To be sure, those who are doing this are not that explicit. But that, in effect, is exactly what they are doing - denying Christ.
Mormon Cult temple with the "Angel Moroni" on top. The cross of Christ is nowhere to be seen. What I am alluding to are the various reactions to questions about Mitt Romney's Mormonism and whether Mormonism is Christianity. This topic is, again, in the news. And here are some of the reactions by some folks who say they are Christians:
