Beautiful green homes aren't just limited to modern architectural designs. More traditionally designed homes can be energy-efficient and cost-effective as much as a modern home. Reclaimed materials can be used, and solar panels & geothermal wells can be utilized. If the basics are there - tight construction and effective insulation/HVAC systems - then a green home is possible.

In addition to our more modern house plans, Silvia & Silvia offers more conservative yet elegant plans that take advantage of green building techniques. We are not just limited to these plans, of course. If you or your client's architect is versed in green building, we can work together with them to create a beautiful, healthy and energy-efficient home.
