Greetings!

Spring is often the best time to inspect your house after a long winter. Check out some of HGTV's spring maintenance tips below to ensure that your home is ready for the coming warmer months.
"The Ultimate Spring Home Maintenance Checklist"

1. Inspect any brickwork you may have on your home or in walkways. Look for any signs of moisture absorption in the brick. If there is some, consider sealing the brick with a waterproofing sealant.

2. Replace any rotten siding or trim and repaint all if necessary.

3. Clean gutters. Make sure the downspouts are pointed away from the house. Cleaning gutters is dangerous, so consider hiring a professional for the service.

4. Check the roof for shingles that are curling or warping to help prevent leaks.
