Dear clients and friends of The Lounge, we are fast approaching that time of year where helping others is uppermost in our minds.  Throughout the year, The Lounge contributes to many charitable organizations and events, and we are always glad to see the smiles and joy a little helping hand can bring.

Carnival Liberty

Several of The Lounge team recently embarked on a one week educational cruise in the Caribbean.

They joined over 550 beauty industry people participating in the week long journey which included port days and educational events during sailing times.

The event was put on by the Beauty Council of BC with several International companies putting on

the artistic events.

On October 03, 20 stylists competed in Calgary for an opportunity to be discovered with City TV's Ordinary to Extra- Ordinary Make-Over Competition.  The entrants had 45 minutes to finish their look with the winner receiving an all expense paid trip to Toronto for an appearance on CityLine courtesy of the Allied Beauty Association and City TV.

Lance co-hosted the event with Calgary's own Jill Belland of CityTV.  The winner will be announced on the show airing Friday December 03.  Be sure and set your PVR.
