USHLI Launches Corporate Leadership Development Initiative at BP |
 |
Expanding its nationally renowned array of leadership development programs, i.e., civic education for high school students, policy development for college students, local government for the grassroots community, and candidate training and campaign management school, USHLI has added a Corporate Leadership Development Initiative (CLDI).
USHLI has assembled a team of 10 of the top Latino professional speakers and trainers to spearhead its newly released CLDI. USHLI is now offering the program to corporations interested in promoting and facilitating the upward mobility of its Latino employees.
The first of two training sessions being conducted for BP employees was conducted last week in Houston for employees in Texas City and Houston. The second training program is scheduled for November 11 in Naperville, IL.

"Latinos in America": True Hypocrisy on CNN |
Who is CNN trying to kid? Does the most anti-Latino television network really believe that a measly four-hour special on Latinos is supposed to make any difference in how America views Latinos? Does the most anti-immigrant network that prides itself and defends Lou Dobbs' venomous five hours of weekly Latino bashing really believe that four hours of Soledad O'Brien's best intentions make any difference in how Latinos view the network? Does the network that can be most trusted to provide America 250 hours of Lou Dobbs' programmed, negative, violence-inciting hate speech during prime time annually really believe that a four-hour special changes anything?
This is lollipop television at its worse. After the wrapper is removed and the sweet flavor wears off, the only thing left is the shaft! If CNN wants to do anything for Latinos and this nation it should drop Lou Dobbs and replace him with someone like Juan Williams, Soledad O'Brien, John Quinones, or Ray Suarez. | |
