Not everyone is aware that my "Writing Salon Mistress Muses" blog has evolved into the primary place where I announce upcoming events featuring our teachers OR our students (past and present). I also post updates about teachers/students who have recently gotten something published and want to get the word out. By published, I mean anything from poems in small lit mags to personal essays in the local newspaper to novels or memoirs...or any book at all. We've been experiencing intermittent problems with our website. Sometimes it takes way too long for pages to load, which can be annoying, to say the least. This is a server problem. The only thing we can do about it is switch servers, which we plan to do soon, but first we have to solve a couple of other technical problems. In the meantime, the only thing you can do is keep trying until the page loads.
