More Stellar Communities!
 June 1, 2010
Dear eMatrimony Subscriber,

Bridgewater MA Share GroupTo the right you will see a photo that was submitted after the May 1 eMatrimony. The group shown is the Bridgewater MA Share Group that was nominated as a "stellar community".

The photo was sent to us by Fr. Carlos Kim, who helped organize the group over a year and a half ago - they meet every 3rd Friday at St Thomas Aquinas Parish in Bridgewater, MA.

Below are a few more nominated Stellar Communities to read about!

We, Joe & Linda, will be leaving Colorado in less than two weeks for a combined work trip/vacation (VA, MD, NJ, DE, & NJ) which will include several highlights, such as having our vows renewed by the wonderful priest who witnessed our marriage 30 years ago, and of course attending the WWME Convention! It's not too late to register!
Love, Joe and Linda Oppelt,
your eMatrimony editors

WWME Survey Update
Please note - the survey is for couples only, so far...

From ScottandKaren Seaborn and Fr. Tom,
US Ecclesial Team

We inadvertently opened the Community survey up to our priests to take this survey and then discovered that it really is aimed only at couples.  We are looking at another survey to obtain our priests feedback.  We apologize to all the priests who attempted to fill this out and then discovered they could not proceed if they did not check 'husband' or 'wife'.

Also, please note that the survey is now also available in Spanish.

More Stellar Communities!
The Gaylord Michigan Area - Section 6

The Share Group calls themselves "The Travelling Misfits" because they meet in so many different locations - sometimes travelling up to 65 miles to attend.  It was first begun by Andy & Ilene Taylor of Roscommon.  The Misfits have been meeting since about 1990. All in this group are active in their Church, and continually invite others to the W/E. They know one another's families and have developed a great amount of trust in one another. They pray together, celebrate together, and cry together.

Quote from Andy & Ilene:
"We truly draw strength from each other and help one another stay on track in our relationships.  This gives us courage to live out our Sacrament daily and try to really to live God's Plan in our lives."

The Misfits are the couples who are most active in planning and carrying out our "Annual Marriage Encounter Family Campout" in various places.  They are also the couples who put on a Romance Dinner this spring.  There are strong leadership qualities in the group, and they have open arms for new members.  This group also supplies many of the Prayer Couples for the W/E's in our Area.

Greater Boston Share Group:  Section 20

Radiant sacraments fill the Greater Boston Share Group!  In addition to regularly sharing the fruits of their dialogues, they also share their talents and time organizing a variety of WWME community events.  They make loving fun and contagious whenever you're around them.  Most of the couples have young children, so they include WWME family events among the many things they do to contribute their vibrant love to the greater WWME community.  This share group has organized bonfire songs. They have hosted several inviting events, including a wonderful Fondue night around Valentine's Day each year and the WWME Christmas party in previous years.  They have supported WWME tables at Catholic Men's & Women's Conferences in the Archdiocese of Boston.  They have also reached out to encountered couples from the Cape Verdean community to assist them in forming a new share group within that ethnic Catholic Church. Their couple love is truly contagious and without boundaries.  They exemplify the breadth and width of Christ's love for His whole church!

Bless you for recognizing these amazing, inspiring and beautiful sharing communities!
