Welcome Back!

The Administrative Staff of Yavneh is working feverishly posting schedules, preparing classrooms, and polishing the learning, sporting, and socializing spaces of our Campus. 

The halls have been quiet these many weeks of vacation and we are ready to welcome our students and teachers to the 2011-2012 year. 

If indeed past is prologue, we are readying for a time when new organizations will be created, and those we've come to recognize with honors will return.  Our sports teams will take to their respective courts, with athletes dedicated to start in early hours, and coaches dedicated to bring out their every strength.  Our teachers have spent some of their own summer breaks studying new curriculum, and they are excited to help our students learn and grow to be the best they can be.

The countdown is here!  Enjoy the next couple of weeks, circle your calendar for the business that comes with the start of school, and get ready for a wonderful and meaningful year.

ALTHETES - All students planning to participate in athletics must download the Physical Evaluation Form and Clearance Form from the athletics page of the school website, http://yavnehdallas.org/athletics/athletics.html and then complete and turn them in before the first day of practice in their sport.

NOTE - SEE CALENDAR BELOW FOR MANDATORY VOLLEYBALL AND BASKETBALL TRYOUTS & MEETING INFORMATION


SENIORS TAKING GOVERNMENT - If you have not picked up your U.S. Government class materials, please come anytime to pick them up from the main office.  You will need a check payable to Yavneh Academy in the amount of $20 to cover the materials, which are yours to keep (other than the text book).  You will need to get (1) a binder, (2) text book, (3) Contempt of Court, and (4) U.S. Constitution.  You need these materials before the start of school, as there is assigned reading for the first class meeting.
