We Asked, You Answered |
Thank you to all of those who participated in our June-July Poll. The winner of this raffle who will receive lunch for two including 2 tossed salads and beverages, complements of Breugger's, is Ms. Joan Lester. Congratulations!
We asked and you answered.
Last month we polled our readers regarding what motivates them to attend fundraising events, while providing them choices of an event including a meal, raffle items, a reception, silent auction, a guest speaker / discussion / panel, or having it be an activity centered event (i.e. sporting event, play/movie, etc.). The most influential motivator was having a speaker, discussion, and/or panel. One reader even provided the following comment, " None of the above. I don't attend fundraising events. The only exception would be a walk, because I enjoy exercising, and I don't mind walking for a cause". Thank you for your valuable feedback!! |

Courses Begin August 26th
Please visit PECC website for course details and registration information.
Message from Dr. Lida Jeck, Director of PECC:
I am very pleased to announce that we have gotten the go ahead from the American Psychoanalytic Association to offer child focused psychoanalysis training. We have offered training in child psychoanalysis for a long time, but it will now be possible for students to train as child analysts without also concurrently training as adult analysts. We are delighted with this development because for some time we have heard expressions of interest in this kind of a track.
The details of the program will develop over time, but students who want to pursue this track may begin to do so by taking courses and applying to matriculate in our training programs.
Congratulations to the child analysis faculty and to Don Rosenblitt who put together a stellar application to APsaA that was accepted on the first try!
