"Bingo Bunnies", G-rated comedy by Terry Earp, will be performed by Boerne Community Theatre, Nov. 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20. Thursday 7:30 pm; Fri/Sat 8:00 pm; Sundays 2:30 pm. Tim Moranz promoted to Sales Manager at KCA

Moranz, who became an air conditioning Replacement Specialist with Kendall County Air in 2006, was also awarded honors this year after being recognized as the 2nd highest AC sales producer of high-efficiency AC equipment in the nation. Moranz will continue to be in sales as a Replacement Specialist, along with his managerial duties, as he builds on the team that KCA has put in place. Texas Heritage Bank Wins Community Banking Award

Texas Heritage Bank has been awarded a Bronze Medal in the 2010 Best of Community Banking Awards for community service. The sponsoring Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) honored the Boerne based bank along with other medal winners in special ceremonies held September 28 during the organization's 36th annual convention in Fort Worth.

Thrill to the Music at the San Antonio Opera Gala

The fabulous Trois Estate is the site for a San Antonio Opera/Hill Country Opera league benefit on Saturday evening, November 20th beginning at 5:30pm. The San Antonio Opera, celebrating its 15th season, started the Hill Country Opera League in the Summer of 2009 and has staged opera events in the Hill Country beginning with "Opera On the Ranch" at the Knibbe Ranch near Spring. The opera event at the Trois, hosted by Charles and Rebecca Trois, will be the first opera event in the Fredericksburg area since the inception of the Hill Country Opera League and will celebrate the growing interest in opera in the hill country.

The Hill Country will come to life at the Trois with the magic of great opera, a fine wine reception, a gourmet dinner, a live auction and a 50 minute opera program performed by San Antonio's Three Tenors and the newly formed operatic girl group, Stiletto.

Mayor Dan Heckler presents "State of the City Address"

Do you want to know how your tax dollars are being spent? When is the Trail System getting started?
Mayor Dan Heckler is inviting the public to attend his "State of the City" address on November 18, 2010 at 7 PM at the Boerne Convention and Community Center. "The budget has just been approved by the City Council and the Mayor wants the public to be kept informed on what the City of Boerne will spend their money on and what the City has planned for this coming year. "There should be no surprises, no guessing, and no question on what the City is doing with your money" Mayor Heckler said. There will be a 30 minute open mike for questions following the mayor's address. The public is encouraged to attend.
