Texas State Optical
Dr. Jack Rountree's Texas State Optical Fair Oaks wants to thank you for allowing us to give you and yours the gift of sight this year. We understand how medical vision exams play a key role in our children's health and learning comprehension. This is why Dr. Rountree participates in the InfantSEE program which provides a one-time, no cost eye and vision assessment for babies 6 to 12 months old. TSO also collects donated used eyewear for the Lions Club, to be distributed to those in need in the US, and third world countries. For more information please call 210-698-6393. We feel like it is a great way to show the seniors in our community that we love and care about them. Victory San Antonio has also been a huge help in past years in giving donations. The funds raised are used to buy Christmas gifts for the children within the Bexar County Protective Service. Each guest also brings a toy as well. Happy Holidays from Nelson Interiors!

Texas Heritage Bank
Toy drives for the needy, goodies for soldiers serving far away and partnering with local organizations to spread the Christmas Spirit are just a few of Texas Heritage Bank's favorite things. Each Thanksgiving and Christmas season Texas Heritage Bank gladly accepts donations for the Hill Country Daily Bread Ministry which collects, wraps and delivers Christmas presents to families in need. Additionally, last year the employees of Texas Heritage Bank collected items ranging from warm gloves and socks to granola bars to ship to two very personal soldiers serving our country overseas. To round out the season we floated in the annual Weihnachts parade with the Boys & Girls Club of the Hill Country and are excited to do the same this year!

Home Instead Senior Care
Be a Santa to a Senior®, the popular campaign that has delivered more than 450 gifts to Kendall County seniors is being planned again this holiday season by Home Instead Senior Care. Participating non-profit organizations identify financially challenged and isolated seniors in the community and provided those names to Home Instead Senior Care. Christmas trees in local businesses by December 1, 2010 will feature ornaments with the first names only of the seniors and gift requests. Holiday shoppers can pick up an ornament, buy items on the list and return them unwrapped to the store, along with the ornament attached. Let's all join together this holiday season to make it a memorable one for a senior in need. For more information, please contact Pam O'Banion (830) 249-4988.
