ABOUT H-LAB This
section of the newsletter will have introductions to the people at H-Lab, explanations of
what we do behind the scenes, and highlights about actual customers and their worm
control strategies.
This Month: Our Best Month Ever!
Many thanks
to you, our customers, for our best month ever since we began offering fecal
testing by mail in 1992! We appreciate your business, and your help in
spreading the word about how using stool sample testing can mean less deworming
chemicals in your horse and a better handle on your equine worm control
program. We're
finding that equine parasite resistance as a topic in the equine media is
picking up. Last month there were articles on the new deworming protocols in both Horse Illustrated and Horse & Rider magazines.
We found
this article online at The Chronicle of the Horse Web site: Fighting the War Against Parasite Resistance, By Kristyn Close We also
'stumbled' upon this funny post at the Horse Grooming Supplies community forum
from back in February, 2009, from a then-new H-Lab client! The member 'AQHA
Hunter' said...
I
just had FEC's done on my horse and 3 others at the barn by Horseman's Lab
(THANK YOU to whoever recommended them, it's like NetFlix for poo-very quick and convenient!).
We're not sure Netflix would appreciate the
comparison, but we got a good laugh from it!
Thanks for helping us spread the
word, and please let us know what we can do to give you even more and better
information to help you in your fight against equine parasites.
