Here are some additions I've made to the Monthly Forecast. These are some major alignments, affording us rare opportunities for growth and evolution on micro and macro levels.
Feb 12 ~ Sun / Neptune in Aquarius ~ for annual meeting. This is touched on in the Monthly Forecast, but even more relevant is the fact that Neptune is only in Aquarius for about 14 years (1998 - 2011) and then it will be 168 years before that energy is this available for us again.
Feb 16 & 18 ~ Venus in Aries (Fire) is going to lovingly tap Mars/Jupiter in Aquarius (Air) to ensure her contribution to the mix is made. This is an opportunity warm things up amongst that group. Ideas and passions and truth are all good, but Venus says, love and humanity and art and beauty are equally as necessary.
Feb 17 ~ Mars / Jupiter in Aquarius ~ for a once in 24 year meeting. The gift of this powerful duo is just and right action; the challenge is self-righteousness. All of the energies we're dealing with this month are major, and several are extremely rare, this one is no exception. This activation is giving you the energy (Mars) to expand (Jupiter) your world on personal and collective levels. Aquarius, will (hopefully) will bring the detachment these two passionate planets need to be useful.
Feb 21 ~ Sun in Pisces brings deep sensitivity about Self and meets up with Pluto in Capricorn which brings up the major shift in your responsibilities and contribution, personally and professionally. This angle is an opportunity that must be worked consciously or you may miss out on some of the benefits.
The more conscious individuals moving around our world, touching others in their travels, the better off we will all be. I encourage you to check in whenever you possibly can, read the articles, listen to the audios and co-create with the Power Circle group energy wherever you are. AFTER-THOUGHTS ... Still relevant because we have 3 more Mercury Retrogrades in 2009 and we are not out of the Shadow period of this one until Valentine's Day, Feb 14th.
This year, Mercury is going to appear to go backwards (from our Earthly perspective) *4* times, rather than the traditional 3. From what I can track, this happens about every 6 years. Also noteworthy, is the progression of elements over the years. No discernable pattern here, but rarely does an entire year consist of ONE element. 2005 was all Fire; 2008 was all Air but then it does not happen again until 2013 when it will retrograde and go direct in all Water. What we have this year, 2009, is Mercury going backwards in all Air signs, suggesting that our ways of thinking, ideas and concepts require a review and some extra attention to assess throughout the year ... so that when it goes forward in Earth signs, we can then anchor them in tangible reality. Not a bad idea on a regular day, but this is why I LOVE Retrogrades, they give us permission to pull back and do the necessary assessment to ensure we are actually making choices that make sense internally and are in-sync with the times.
Mercury's Shadow period happens a couple of weeks before and after the actual down-time, which suggests that as we approach and as we come out of these periods of reflection, we should still proceed alert and cautious. A good rule of thumb would be to know that you need to check-in on your thought patterns and ideas/concepts 3-4 times per year, so think quarterly for this year as there is so much to process. And once again, I remind you that 2009 and 2010 are pivotal years leading us to major transformation in 2011 and 2012 and beyond.

Uranus, The Great Awakener, in Pisces last happened during the 'Roaring 20s', when people were simultaneously restricted by material limitation, yet liberated through truly unique creative expression, advancing technologies and rebelling against the establishment for basic human rights and better structures to serve a growing (global) society. Hmmm, sound familiar?

Together ... actually 43 years apart, we are doing yet another balancing act, a recalibration of epic proportions. Last time (in the 20's), Pluto was involved and it was very deep & transformative. This time we have our own version of the radical shifting of our fundamental foundations and structures which support society in general.
I plan to go over these energies more in-depth on the call and you will receive in your post call goodies just which areas of your life are being "radically shifted" and, simultaneously, restructured to serve you better in the long term.

This last quarter of 2008 is going to be the strongest time for completing these tasks, clearing the past once and for all, lightening your load and preparing for true, permanent forward movement.

Hi All ~ As you receive this newsletter, we are already in the middle of the first week of February, knee-deep in a myriad of opportunities presented by the planets. *Shift Happens* and it is definitely happening this month. Actually, every month will reveal a new aspect of your Shift. This first week (Feb 1 - 7) wins hands down if for no other reason but the sheer number of major movements the energies/planets are making. The second week (Feb 8 - 14) only has one but it's a pivotal, annual one. And the third week (Feb 15 - 21) is all very personal.
This week starts at a Sacred Seasonal Portal, Mercury goes Direct, Venus enters Aries for 4 months (normal is 1.5 months), Mars joins the party in Aquarius making that 7 planets in that sign, then on the same day as the 2nd Saturn/Uranus Activation, Venus taps Pluto for a serious conversation that will require a resolution and agreement on some level. This week is no joke!
All of these active and potent energies kicking at the same time deserve at least a 'nod to the gods' or something! Don't let these opportunities to get your vote IN - pass you by because you are caught up in survival-mode. I know it is a lot to process but Spirit only gives you what you can handle and you are truly stronger than you know. Not to mention the Infinite number of benevolent souls, energies and entities which are *ALWAYS* AVAILABLE. You need only invite the Invisible Assistance and it is done.
Let's face it, that is way too much for a newsletter, so I've divided it in to two articles (so far). Below are the Highlights, I highly recommend taking the time to read both articles and possibly peruse the Archives for recent Articles.
Feb 1 ~ is a Sacred Season / Cross Quarter ~ the transitional time between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, when the veils between light and dark, known and unknown, past and future are thinner. It is these times you should pause, reflect and receive messages from Divine Spirit. Refer back to Spring Equinox 2008.
Feb 1 ~ Mercury goes Direct ~ Now, the Messenger, who rules transitional times (dusk/dawn) and crossroads, has been going over Aquarius /Capricorn territory for the last 3 weeks, bringing to the surface ideas you may have been attached to for a very long time but which may have little or nothing to do with your current reality. Detachment and Responsibility are also up for review.
Feb 2 ~ Venus Enters Aries ~ And now moves toward a Retrograde covering the ground which will be reviewed between March 6th (retrograde) and April 18th (direct - shadow period ends mid-May). The whole point of any planet going Retrograde is to bring up the issues of its domain, in Venus' case, values, priorities and resources. It brings these issues to the surface, essentially getting your attention in a way that (hopefully) will prompt you to want to explore more deeply (retrograde) before charting the course of future forward movement (when direct and out of shadow) when you will have acquired more clarity and sure-footedness.

& Your *NEW* 8 year Cycle
Feb 4 ~ Mars enters Aquarius ~ bringing fire to the party already well under way (making that 7 planets in Aquarius at the moment). This is so beautiful, how the Universe brings exactly what we need, right when we truly need it. As Venus moves in to Aries shifting our focus to Self on a very deep level sure to affect the collective, Mars moves in to Aquarius in the 11th House of Community & Ideals. So again, we are reminded to do self-work in a softer, more feminine way and do our community work in a more masculine, pro-active way. Mars brings fiery passion to whatever is going on and, right now, it is creative innovative ways to live on this planet *TOGETHER*.
Feb 5 ~ Saturn in Virgo Opposes Uranus in Pisces ~ for the second in a series of *5* activations over 2008 - 2010. The last time these energies got together like this was 1965-1967. It is my opinion that the seeds planted in the 1960's are ripe and ready to evolve from seed in to *LIFE* in a tangible way, on multiple levels. The Virgo/Pisces axis indicates we've been incubating, in the womb for 43 years, until that last *push* (July 2010) when Saturn dips in to Libra right as Uranus rebirths in Aries, initiating its new 84 year Cycle. This is a major opportunity, individually and collectively, to heal many aspects of our living structure (body and earth) so we can obtain Oneness and enlightenment. I will be doing a *FREE* Tele-Class on February 10th covering this energy as there are so many layers to understand and work with.
Feb 5 ~ Venus/Pluto ~ Add to the mix Venus' angle ('squaring off') to Pluto, Lord of Transformation, an angle which demands change, growth and evolution. These two energies MUST find a way to evolve and co-exist at a higher level, in Aries and Capricorn, which means individual and societal; independence and responsibility are working it out.
ALL OF THE ABOVE ... SMACK IN BETWEEN A SOLAR AND LUNAR ECLIPSE!! and I haven't even covered the Second and Third weeks of February yet.

With so many key and pivotal events this year, I remind you that this first quarter is vital. January thru April are preparing you for a magical and potently creative and healing time come May, June & July when Jupiter can bring expanded consciousness in the realm of Light, love and the community, as well as Jupiter's signature luck, abundance and expansion. This quarter, make sure you release that which you do not want 'expanded'.
ECLIPSES
There are *6* Eclipses this year ( 4 is normal). They are considered 'course correctors' and indicate radical, unexpected shifts in unmistakable ways.
