Chapter Championship
Thirty nine players will compete in the EWGA Boston Chapter Championship at Red Tail Golf Course on July 18th. Twenty-three players will compete in the individual stroke competition and 4 teams (with 4 members each) will play in the scramble competition.
New this year is the recognition of an overall champion--the individual player in the stroke competition with the lowest net score. This means that any player in any division could be the champion.
Low net and low gross winners in all divisions and the first place scramble team will advance to the Northeastern Semi-Final championship at the Western Turnpike Golf Course in Guilderland, New York. All winners will be announced in the August newsletter and on the Boston Chapter website.

It is important to remember to tell us too, whenever you have an update to your contact information so that we can stay in touch with you. National EWGA maintains the central, master database of all EWGA members, so it is very important that you make all updates on the EWGA website as well as at the Boston level.

Update your Member Profile?
Two steps are required
(but they're quick!):
EWGA:
To update your information at National EWGA, after logging into Members Only on www.ewga.com, you will see two boxes in blue, your PROFILE and HOME. If you click on your name and ID, you will go to a page that displays your member profile. Here you will see the personal information on file for you as well as other options. Keeping this area up-to-date will insure that you receive all communications from EWGA HQ and from the Boston Chapter.
There is also a HELP section for the Members Only area with details and instructions on using all the areas available in Members Only, including changing your password, paying your dues, registering for events or purchasing member shirts, just to name a few.
EWGA Boston:
once you have logged in and been redirected to the members' home page, click on Update Member Info (in the Chapter Info box) to update your contact information for the local member directory, your handicap information, or other information you want to share with other Boston members. |
