Our intention is to assist facilitators in leaning to discern the differences between Equine Facilitated Learning, Equine Assisted Coaching, and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy; how these types of facilitation overlap; when discernment is necessary; how to combine some of the practices and principles unique to each; and how to assess your specific skill set and gifts to identify your individual practice. The latest research on the brain and the limbic system will be presented and discussed, as well as how these systems support the efficacy of our work with the horses.
