Lovingkindness Is Mindfulness: An Interview with Sylvia Boorstein
|
The following interview was conducted by Walt Opie, Communications Editor, on August 18 at Spirit Rock.
Spirit Rock: What's new and exciting to you at this point in your life and your teaching career?
Sylvia Boorstein: I began practicing in 1977, so that's now 33 years ago. That's almost half my life. And I've thought many times, "Now I really get it, what we're doing." Then some time later I would think, "Now I really get it, what we're doing." Later on I would think, "You know I used to think I knew, but now I really, really get what it means about liberation."
