Relax Your Ears

Music, Tinnitus, and Inspiration

Greetings!

Welcome to my June Newsletter.
Forthcoming album

The most negative becomes the most positive...

Transitioning from a professional drumming career to writing and performing my own music has been my biggest challenge, and at the same time, the most fulfilling thing I have ever done.

After the success of my debut album "Relax Your Ears," I am even more excited to share with you my next album, and the process of making it.

I am pleased to announce that my next album will be called Resonance and that it will contain approximately 15 pieces:  5 guitar and string pieces, 7 hammered dulcimer and string pieces, 2 piano pieces, and a string-quartet piece.

It will incorporate layers of lush strings featuring string-quintet arrangements by myself and Sophie Webber for two cellos, two violins, and viola.  It will also maintain the space, breath, and balance I focused on maintaining with my first album.

Click the video below to check out some live clips of music that will be on the forthcoming album.

Last but not least, stay tuned for more album updates next month and in the coming months, including glimpses into our recording sessions, more new music, and our trials and tribulations along the way.
