Baggage Can Be Beautiful
|
Project Runway would be pretty dull if everyone adhered to civilized behavior. Fashion with all its craziness and cattiness makes good television.
But lately we've noticed a new trend in the industry with a reputation for temperamental madness. Cruelty-free fashion is creating a buzz we can't ignore. Since some of our in-house Flashionistas are committed vegetarians, we set out to see how to maintain a fetish for shoes and handbags without compromising the planet.
It took some searching, but we managed to find some winners. What we did uncover was a huge need for more glamour in this category. We don't want to wear stodgy granola shoes any more than we want to carry a cheesy plastic handbag.

Is anyone in the industry listening???
