BCIT students cut back on electricity usage to aid power research 
BURNABY, BC: The electricity bill is big - nearly $120,000 per year for all seven student residences on the BCIT Campus. As part of a competition, 333 students who live in these houses are attempting to trim this bill and - in the process - win a night out on the town.

They may even help solve some of British Columbia's biggest energy and climate change concerns.
