Greetings!
We are excited to announce that Verge Yoga is expanding its'
walls once again. Coming in early 2011 we will be opening the doors of our new Studio 3. This new space, in our current location, will allow us to continue to support your growth with empowering new programming.
Our decision to expand again was driven by YOU! We have heard your calling for "the next step" and we are committed to support your well-being, to empower you to strive for optimal health. Verge Yoga, we are growing together!
Thank you all for your continued support and dedication to Verge Yoga over the past six years. The enthusiasm of our community of students, teachers and staff is unique and unmatched in our area. This expansion is a result of our collective passion to awaken into conscious living.
As I plan new programs for our new Studio 3, I openly welcome your suggestions and ideas. Please email me. I look forward to hearing from you.
Verge Yoga is growing together!

| Student Spotlight - Lisa Kushner |
I live a simple life. A walk through the woods with my beautiful dogs, sharing a laugh with my children or just the satisfaction of preparing my favorite salad, makes my day. I guess you can say I "live in the moment". I truly appreciate the moments of each day; so, what does yoga do for me? I found out the hard way that practicing yoga daily is essential to my well being. When the economy tanked in '08, I economized by cutting back on yoga classes. Big mistake! All my life I have dealt with general anxiety and, in the last two years, some depression. For the fist time I suffered from mild depression that interfered with my daily life. I examined my routine and discovered the trigger for my physical and mental change. I had stopped going to Verge! It only took one class to be back on the path to good health. Today, each class relases every bit of anxiety or restessness that I may be carrying around with me. After practice I feel focused and ready to give back to those who may need attention. I realize now to be the best I can be for my family and others I need to be on my mat every day.

Staff Spotlight - Did You Know? Carlyn Todorow

Fall is my favorite time of the year. I absolutely love the intense and vibrant color of the trees.
When I'm not playing outside with my two dogs or in the kitchen baking, I enjoy a flexible balance between teaching and practicing at Verge Yoga, doing research at CHOP, and completing a post-bacalaurette program in the sciences at Penn.

You will learn effective ways to move with greater strength and freedom. After this workshop, you will never look at yoga or any other form of movement the same. This workshop is truly paradigm shifting. No yoga experience required. Johnny Gillespie, Founder of Empowered Yoga and Plexus Fitness, is a revolutionary teacher of human movement.
