Becoming an Elder for MDC is an intentionally long road as we want to make sure that we have the right men, in the right places, for the right reasons, with the right training all for the glory of God.
As you may know, Brandon Jacobson has indicated that he aspires to be an Elder for the Missio Dei Family. You can hear his Gospel Story that he gave on March 14.

Deacon Candidates' Stories

|  On June 13, Missio Dei Church will be ordaining our first deacons. Deacons within Missio Dei Church are servant-leaders recognized for their service, their leadership, and their character. They must meet the requirements of 1 Timothy 3:8-13 and they must be functionally serving as a leader in the ministry area for which they have been called.
The three candidates (John Meskis, Todd Paben and Emily Schissler) have gone through extensive training. The deacon process is designed to provide uniformity as to how Missio Dei calls, equips, and releases its leaders.

Let's Go Camping!!

| For the past three summers we have "canceled" corporate worship on
one Sunday morning to go camping together as a family! This year will
be no different! We will be transplanting our church for a weekend to Potato Creek State Park in North Liberty, IN. Last year sixty-five people roughed it in tents and/or campers. We were able to laugh and eat together, build community, and start an impromptu choir. We built memories!
