On Friday, we remember Jesus' death... but on Sunday, we celebrate the
fact that he has risen and conquered the grave! Join us for our
gathering at Mokena Elementary School on Easter Sunday at 10 AM. As
always, childcare is always available!
Everyone at Missio Dei is gathered from various walks of life, and
each of us is on a spiritual quest to know and experience the good, the
true, and the beautiful. Some of us are fervently committed. Some of us
are cautiously curious. And others of us are somewhat skeptical.
Wherever you are on the journey, we hope that you feel welcomed and at home in our church, and we hope that you will join us on Sunday to celebrate the greatest victory of our lifetimes.

Arthur Wallis once said, "A move of God will last as long as the Spirit of prayer that inspired it." As a whole, we desire to see Missio Dei Church have a strong DNA of prayer that runs through each and every individual and ministry.
We have invited Diane Aardema, the Prayer Leader for the Synod of Mid-America, to lead us in an equipping prayer event on Saturday, April 10 from 9:00 - noon in the Ministry Center. No matter where you are in your prayer life, Diane will walk with us by giving us practices that will help us all develop, nurture and employ a life of prayer.

Camp Work Day is Fast Approaching

The seventh annual Camp Work Days at Camp Manitoqua and
King's Camp are quickly approaching and once again Manitoqua staff is
excited about this event that prepares the grounds for the spring and
summer retreat and camping programs! Each year God faithfully provides
so many people that join together in accomplishing projects. This
year's event is scheduled on the same day at both Camp Manitoqua and King's Camp; it is Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm.
Lunch and child care are provided at no cost! Churches,
community members, youth and adults will join with camp staff to
prepare the grounds for the spring and summer retreat and camping
programs.RSVP here. For planning purposes, please let Camp Manitoqua know you are coming by April 13.
