It is important for us as a church to know God's vision for us and to
be reminded and encouraged by it regularly. It is said that a vision
starts dying after a couple of months if the leaders rarely or never
hear about it. This usually leads to feelings of being disconnected,
unappreciated, and burned out. So we have made it our commitment to
meet once a month to celebrate what God is doing through us, to
continue to cast his vision, and to encourage the leaders in his
mission. Leadership Community, then, is really like a big party or pep
rally where we share vision and appreciate our leaders.
Leadership Community is a monthly gathering of all MDC staff,
Missional Community leaders, apprentices, Kids Crossing leaders and
teachers... anyone who contributes somehow to God's work in the church.
It will be occurring on March 20 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Peace
Community Church in Frankfort. Childcare is available; RSVP here and include your childcare requirements.

Missio Dei Game Night

You are invited to a Game Night on Saturday, March 20 at Peace Community Church from
5-8 pm. We will have bean bags, hill billy golf, Wii, and board games.
Please bring one of your favorite games and a snack to share!

Arthur Wallis once said, "A move of God will last as long as the Spirit of prayer that inspired it." As a whole, we desire to see Missio Dei Church have a strong DNA of prayer that runs through each and every individual and ministry.
We have invited Diane Aardema, the Prayer Leader for the Synod of Mid-America, to lead us in an equipping prayer event on Saturday, April 10 from 9:00 - noon in the Ministry Center. No matter where you are in your prayer life, Diane will walk with us by giving us practices that will help us all develop, nurture and employ a life of prayer.
