An Interview with Ruth Frazer-Munroe
After the XIX Regional Masters Championships that were held in Mayaguez, Puerto

I am thrilled to have Ruth here with me to give us a bit of insight into what took place at the Championships.

CariFin Team in Training: Ruth, how many times have you been to these Championships?

RFM: About five teams beginning in 2003.  They hold regional games in even years and world games in odd years.

CTIT: How was your experience at these  Championships this time?

RFM: The experience was very good particularly since the CAC (Central American and Caribbean Games) had just finished at the same venue before us, so the facilities were up to par.

CTIT: Could you say what events you took part in and what were the results in these events?

RFM: In my age group, 70-74, I participated in the 8K Cross Country run and obtained a gold medal.  Then I was in both the 5000 race walk on the track and the 10000 race walk on the road, obtaining silver in both.
