Greetings!
As a Citizen Diplomat, you know, firsthand, the power the individual has to help shape U.S. foreign relations "one handshake at a time." Whether you: - Host International Visitors for dinner and meaningful conversation;
- Invite them to your workplace to exchange best practices freely and openly;
- Participate in our community programs to learn about pressing global issues from leading experts and one another;
- Or, simply believe in our mission to "promote global understanding and respect between the people of Utah and other nations."
You make a significant difference in the lives of hundreds of emerging leaders from around the world, and in the issues that we, as a globalized world, must address together. While
the U.S. Department of State gives the Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy, and its scores of volunteer Citizen Diplomats, great responsibility as international
liaisons, we are a program of the people, not the government. UCCD receives a grant from the Bureau of Educational
and Cultural Affairs that covers 30% of our financial needs, but we rely on individuals, like you, for 70% of our operating funds. In the next two weeks, you will receive a letter, asking for your financial support. Your support ensures that we will continue to bring over 400 International Visitors to Utah each year for short-term professional and cultural exchanges, and to provide the quality programming you rely upon. Don't want to wait? Give today by using the hassle-free donation button below. Your tax-deductible gift will go to work immediately. Thank you for your generous contribution. With warmest regards, Laura Dupuy Executive Director DONATE NOW |
