The World Affairs Councils of America (UCCD is the Utah chapter of the World Affairs Councils of America), in cooperation with the firm Brown Lloyd James and the Embassy of the Libyan Arab
Jamahiriyah, is pleased to offer a unique opportunity to hear directly from His Excellency, Colonel Muammar al-Qaddafi, leader of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriyah.

The program will consist of a two-way satellite broadcast between Tripoli and the National Press Club in Washington, DC, where the World Affairs Council of Washington, D.C., will host a live audience. National Council for International Visitors
For any college students or young professionals interested in
working with citizen diplomacy, the National Council for International Visitors (NCIV) - the Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy is a NCIV member - is offering an excellent
opportunity to gain experience in Washington, D.C. NCIV is now
accepting applications for its paid internship beginning in May 2010. Interns are able to assist with a variety of substantive projects
supporting the network and NCIV as we begin our 50th Anniversary. Interns can receive academic credit for their work, and - thanks to the
generous support of donors such as Ann Valuchek and Larry and Dora
Chastang - NCIV is able to offer interns $8.25 per hour; for a
full-time, ten-week internship, this totals $3,300.
