The Science of Gelato
An interactive class for elementary school children taught by Barista Shavanna Holland!

Here is Wednesdays class making monkey shines and cross eyes for the camera! These students picked Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough as their favorite gelato and named it "Cookie Dough Dough Dough!"
The students enjoyed weighing and checking the temperature of the gelato. They learned that American ice cream is served colder than gelato and that gelato weighs a lot more than ice cream!

The students were pretty good at figuring out the ingredients in each gelato by using their taste buds! Here students record their favorite flavor.
Here students show how gelato is slow churned to make it super creamy. The Monday class picked Peanut Butter Fudge as it's favorite flavor and named it "Peanut Butter Nut Nut"
