Ikebana with crystalline surface

by Karen Dunleavy L Frank Bfly

We continue to have great interest in ikebanas for use in the beautiful Japanese discipline of flower arranging.  They are showing up on office desks,  in home spa bathrooms and many other living spaces.  Our selection is made up of several artists' versions of this vase form.
The one shown is by Crossley and Donleavy and comes in several very nice colors.

"Good Luck" wall piece in Raku
by Joyce Furney

L Frank Bfly

Although Raku was considered a philosophy in the culture of 16th Century Japan, we in the West have distilled Raku to a technical process.

Raku is now generally accepted to mean a method of rapid firing and cooling of ceramic pieces as well as the name of the finished product.  Joyce has been one of the gallery's most loved ceramicists.

This triptych wall piece measures 20" by 20" and is available at the Uptown Park location.  Click here to see some of her other work we have in stock.
