PARADISE QUARRY Northland Oceanic Schist Specialists in Stunning Stone for Construction and the Landscape
For more than 30 years Northland Oceanic Schist has been produced in a small boutique quarry in Whangarei.
Technically a sedimentary limestone, each line clearly displayed in the stone is essentially a new layer of 'what was once ocean floor' 30 million years ago when all of Whangarei
was a giant tropical lagoon.
Visible individual particles comprising the stone are tiny fragments of ancient coral, mollusc and crustacean shell compacted down layer by layer of historic seabed. As
such, Paradise's schist has more of an oceanic look and feel as compared to other alpine based varieties often seen.
It is the very distinct sedimentary lines and natural colours that create the texture and finish which separates Northland Oceanic Schist from any commercially quarried stone available in NZ or indeed anywhere else in the world.
In selecting a stone for a quality development we believe it is important to consider how best to blend naturally with the surrounding environment and ensure that the finished product looks like it belongs there.
In addition, other construction and landscaping considerations can all be obtained from the same source, multiple walling installation styles, random crazy
paving, formal cut paving, stepping stones, slabs, feature rocks, decorative garden mulch right through to high end polished architectural panels.
Creating different looks is easily achievable with the excellent range of styles and installation methods to choose from. The product range and versatility of

Employers can use VisaView to check information such as a passport number and surname against Immigration's database for (in most cases) a quick online 'yes' or 'no' as to whether a person is entitled to work here, together with any specific work conditions that may apply to the individual.
