Why Polestar?
Get the competitive edge by seeking education on Pilates teaching through one of the most respected companies in the Pilates industry. Polestar Pilates is known for its scientifically based, biomechanically sound approach to Pilates teaching and practice. At graduation, our students excel at the critical reasoning skills necessary to deal with clients with multiple health issues, as well as having the edge to challenge advanced clients. Our series covers repertoire on the: mat, reformer, trapeze table, ladder barrel, chair and spine corrector.

Pre-Requisites
The pre-requisite for taking this series is a college level anatomy course. This is essential knowledge to already possess so that anatomical relationships and biomechanical principles can be taught. This foundation gives our students an edge to build upon in order to learn the Polestar methodology and master the exercises.
Pilates MN is offering an approved anatomy course right here in our Wayzata, MN studio. Julie Odermann, Exercise Physiologist and PMA certified instructor will be leading these classes. They will be held approximately every other Saturday 1 - 3 pm starting January 14 and ending March 24, 2012. Please Click Here to view more information.

Which series is right for me?
The courses are taught simultaneously to enhance the learning from all. We feel that all of our disciplines and experiences provide excellent collaborative learning opportunities.
Rehabilitation Series is for health care providers (ie PT, PTA, ATC, OT, DC, MD, DO, RN) Studio Series is for fitness professionals (ie personal trainers, group fitness instructors) Transition Series is for current Pilates teachers that have been certified/trained through another comprehensive program.
