The Florida Writers Foundation (FWF) is proud to announce a special one-day master class, Empowering Characters' Emotions, with Margie Lawson,
October 22, 2009 at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary. You do not have to
register for the Conference in order to attend this master class.
During
this session, writers will learn how to turn their work into a
page-turner by hooking the reader with characters that seem as real as
the person sitting next to them.
FWF will use the proceeds to
fund ongoing efforts to fight illiteracy in young people and adults.
Enrollment is $50 for Florida Writers Association members; $75 for

PLANNING AHEAD. This year's conference hasn't taken place, and yet plans are already underway for next year. Janet Marie Bill has been appointed Conference Director, and Mary Lois Sanders has been named Faculty Chairperson for the 2010 Conference. Thanks Janet and Mary Lois!

Florida Writers Foundation is accepting donations for the 2009 Silent Auction to be held October 23-25 at the Florida Writers Conference in Lake Mary. Funds raised will support literacy.
