Authors are encouraged to contact A. J. Robinson to reserve a book signing time.
THE 2009 RPLA COMPETITION IS CLOSED! If you sent us your submission and have not received an email confirming receipt of your entry, please let us know.
CONFERENCE VOLUNTEERS are needed for a variety of jobs during this year's annual writers conference. Contact Frank Ridge, Conference Volunteer Chairperson.
2010 CONFERENCE DIRECTOR: Yes it's a big job, but you'll get loads of help and it's also a lot of fun, brings you into direct contact with a wide-range of publishing industry professionals, and would look fab on your resume! To learn how to become next year's conference director, Contact Chrissy Jackson.
State Volunteer Coordinator Marilyn Donnellan has finished the Leaders' Operations Manual for FWA. We've sent it out to the Board of Directors for their review and approval and hope to have it available online by September. She's also working on a draft for Volunteer Development manual. By September, she'll be working closely with Writers Group Leaders to match volunteers to needed positions within each group.
